Nestled in the foothills of the Andean mountains, the Cochabamba Cooperative School serves nearly 300 students from preschool through grade 12. Founded in 1954 as a private, college-preparatory institution, CCS is accredited by SACS and recognized by the Bolivian Ministry of Education. CCS facilities, comprising 10 administrative and academic buildings, are spread over ten acres of what have been described as one of Latin America's most beautiful educational environments. A recent travel publication proclaimed that Cochabamba had the best weather of any large city in the world.
Appropriate for area. Cost of living is exceptionally low in Cochabamba. Our staff members are able to travel, live well, and still save some money from their salaries.
2 year contract; roundtrip transportation at the beginning and at the end of the contract; health insurance; $500 relocation allowance.
Principal: Certification, Spanish fluency is preferred.
