Attention Economics students, Business students, and/or anyone interested in
studying international business abroad:
The Center for Global Education (CGE) in partnership with the School of Management has
extended the deadline to April 6th to apply for the upcoming Business Program in China.
This exciting new program begins in Beijing and concludes in Shanghai. For 5 weeks business
study at local Chinese universities will be complimented by cultural activities. From walking the
factory floor of a Chinese manufacturing plant to strolling through The Forbidden City, the program
offers an experince that will both stand out on a resume and impact the participant's perspective.
BREAKDOWN OF CREDITS:
3 credits in ECON 380: Economics in Transition or MSOM 305: Managing in a Global Economy
plus 3 credits in MKTG 491/MGNT491: Special Topics in Marketing or Management
The program counts for a total of 6 credits over just five weeks.
Because this program is led by School of Management faculty director Jeffrey Kulick, all credits
listed above count as resident Mason credit, as if you were taking courses here on campus. If
you're planning to graduate in May, you can still join us. Just audit the courses and help build an
even more impressive resume.
Interested students may apply online or contact Marie alice Arnold for more information:
We look forward to hearing from you soon!
