Dear Potential Paris Program Participant:

Ernest Hemingway once wrote, If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris
as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life it stays with you,
for Paris is a moveable feast.

See for yourself what Hemingway was writing about as you
study this summer
in PARIS
!

While on this month-long program, students will attend French classes in the mornings
at the
Institut Catholique de Paris (ICP). In the afternoons, evenings, and on weekends
students can participate in cultural activities such as:

          > a walking tour of Paris
          > a cruise on the Seine
          > weekend excursions to Versailles or Normandy (offered by ICP for an additional fee)

This year's program will be led by  Paula Gilbert, a Professor of French in the Department
of Modern & Classical Languages at George Mason University.

Financial aid and scholarships may be applied to this program. We suggest you start filling
out an online application in your spare time during spring break.
