Mason ChangeMakers, in cooperation with Ashoka, are pleased to announce that the
 nomination period is now open for the Mason ChangeMaker Fellowship. This first-annual
program recognizes students, alumni, faculty, and staff who are leading positive
 social change in our community and around the world through social entrepreneurship.
Not your typical research fellowship, the Mason Changemaker Fellowship is designed
to engage outstanding social entrepreneurs on an ongoing basis to cultivate a vibrant
community of like-minded individuals dedicated to using their talents and skills
 to solving some of the world's most intractable problems.
You may qualify if you have:

* Started an innovative service project
* Created your own nonprofit or social venture
* Worked on a groundbreaking product, service, or innovation that improved the quality
of life for people in our local community or around the worldChangeMaker Fellows
 will:

* Have the opportunity to engage with Ashoka's global network of over 2,000 social
entrepreneurs
* Be featured in an upcoming publication dedicated specifically to this program
* Join Ashoka Changemaker Campuses (Cornell, Johns Hopkins, GMU, and University 
of Maryland) in their year-end celebratory event
* Play a vital role in inspiring, mentoring, and cultivating aspiring social entrepreneurs
within the George Mason Community to go out and tackle some of the world's most 
urgent problems
* Countless other networking and professional opportunities are in the works!To
