College of Science

Institute for Research Development, Training and Advice - IRDTA
Brussels / London

TPNC is a conference series intending to cover the wide spectrum of
computational principles, models and techniques inspired by
information processing in nature. TPNC 2020 will reserve significant
room for young scholars at the beginning of their career and
particular focus will be put on methodology. The conference aims at
attracting contributions to nature-inspired models of computation,
synthesizing nature by means of computation, nature-inspired
materials, and information processing in nature.

Authors are invited to submit non-anonymized papers in English
presenting original and unpublished research. Papers should not exceed
12 single-spaced pages (all included) and should be prepared according
to the standard format for Springer Verlag's LNCS series (see

Upload submissions to:

A volume of proceedings published by Springer in the LNCS series will
be available by the time of the conference.

A special issue of a major journal will be later published containing
peer-reviewed substantially extended versions of some of the papers
contributed to the conference. Submissions to it will be by

AI-based Metaheuristics for Information Security and Digital Media

Aim and Scope

With the advancement of information technology, the business world is
completely transformed. It has a great impact on journalism,
education, entertainment, public relations, etc. Currently,
researchers and security experts have been working towards protection
of significant information from attackers/hackers. However, due to
different potential entry points in the network, it becomes a
challenge for the security experts to remove all the vulnerabilities.
Thus the aim of this book is to give insight on the theoretical and
practical development in the direction of information security. The
book aims to provide a collection of state-of-the-art scientific and
technical research papers in the area of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
based metaheuristic algorithms, dealing with Machine Learning (ML),
Deep Learning (DL), cryptography, steganography, etc., and their
combinations to improve information security in digital media. The
detailed analysis of the research contributions in terms of processing
time, security parameters, compression ratio, cyber-attacks,
cryptanalysis/steganalysis as well as highlighting intelligent,
optimized and practical approaches will be at the heart of the

We invite original contributions to the proposed book with an aim to
discuss various applications useful for information security in
digital media. It intends to highlight the importance of several
security parameters, its analysis, and validations for different
practical applications by acknowledging the state of the art
literature survey. The book targets to a larger audiences by exploring
multidisciplinary research directions such as computer vision, machine
learning, artificial intelligence, modified/newly developed
metaheuristics algorithms, etc. to enhance information security for
society. State-of-the-art research work with illustrations and
exercises along with pseudo-code will be highly appreciated.

Important Dates:
