Dear PhD students,

For those who are planning to take the PhD CS Qualifying  Exams in 
January, here are two important notes:

1. The "Software Testing" Qualifying Exam, which has been offered so
far for the PhD IT degree only, will be also available as a PhD CS
Qualifying Exam, starting January 2018.

(The designation "PhD IT only" will be removed when the web site is 
updated).

2. The "Software Modeling" Qualifying Exam will be offered in January
2018, but there is a chance that it will not be re-offered after that.
