It looks like MASON is behaving strangely on recent versions of OS X (well, not *that* recent -- I'm running 1.7.0_51 on OS X 10.9.5). The display speed varies significantly and inconsistently; it appears like there's a bug in OS X Java which causes it to drop repaints, so I'll get a wide variety of frame rates. Before I start digging into this, has anyone else seen this?

Sean
