GeoInformatica has just published an article that details what I have
been doing with MASON these past few years:

I take the opportunity to thank everyone that helped with this work
through this list, with special mentions to Sean and Mark.

I have requested evaluation on my PhD thesis last August; the defence
should be held in the next few months. In all likelihood, I will
continue using and contributing to GeoMASON. I will also keep an eye
on geo-spatial related questions in this list.
