The Vietnam Center & Archive at Texas Tech University and the National Archives in Washington, DC, are hosting a free conference on "Vietnam, 1963" in Washington, DC, Sept. 26-28, 2013. Conference speakers include several eminent Vietnam War scholars, including Jeffrey Race, John Prados, Marilyn Young, Larry Berman, and George Herring, who will deliver the keynote address on Thursday evening, Sept. 26th, at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. The panels on Friday & Saturday, Sept. 27-28, will be held at the McGowan Theater at the National Archives on Pennsylvania Avenue.
