Hello all.

I apologize for the information session date, time mix up of my last
email. There are many more opportunities to learn about the program
prior to the application deadline. The next one is this Friday, February
1 at 10:00 am in Room 234 of the Johnson Center. If you can't make
Friday a list of sessions can be found on the Oxford Honors web page:
http://globaled.gmu.edu/programs/semester/oxfordhonors.html

The George Mason Alumni Association has just informed us of five student
scholarships they are sponsoring:

Peter C. Forame Student Leadership Scholarship: $2,500
GMU Alumni Association Service Scholarship: $2,500
      Black Scholars Endowed Scholarship: $1,500
John C. and Louise P. Wood Undergraduate Scholarship: $2,500
John C. And Louise P. Wood Graduate Scholarship: $2,500

Each scholarship has different criteria, but undergrad applicants
generally need to have amassed 30 academic credits to be eligible.
Graduate students are also eligible to apply for select scholarships and
should have completed nine credit hours at Mason. Candidates may be
in-state, out of state or international students and have a 3.0 GPA or
higher. Students will be assessed on holistic criteria including
service experience, dedication to leadership practices and financial
need. Learn more at the Mason Alumni Association website. Students are
encouraged to apply online at alumni.gmu.edu/scholarships by Friday,
February 1.

Good luck.

Sincerely,
Marie alice Arnold
