Dear Graduate Students in History,

I would like to introduce myself as the new Internship Director for the Department of History and Art History.   The job of Internship Director is a new administrative office for the department.  The goal of this position is to encourage students to pursue history internships to enrich their learning experience in applied history and to facilitate and broaden career opportunities for graduate students.   In the coming months, I plan work with students and host institutions to develop a more active and engaged internship program.
