Dear BIS Students:
The Globalization and Society in India Working Group are organizing two
unique events on campus in the fall.
The attached fliers provides all the details - but in brief:
November 1 - 6:30 pm, Johnson Center Room G - Dr. Ananya Vajpeyi will
discuss and sign copies of her newly released book, Righteous Republic.
Dr. Vajpeyi is a Visiting Fellow with the Center for the Study of
Developing Societies, New Delhi, and a Senior Fellow with the American
Institute of Indian Studies. Light refreshments will be served.
November 8 - noon- Johnson Center Room B - Dr. J.P. Singh and Dr. Rashmi
Sadana, new faculty at Mason will be talking about their research. Lunch
and time for discussion will also be a part of the agenda.
Please note that we do require RSVPs for these events in order to ensure
we have food and beverages for all.
Also, please feel free to forward this on to other colleagues and please
encourage students who might be interested in attending.
Thank you and will look forward to hearing back.
Best,
