For your information, NSF has a program for funding graduate studies. Below is the link to information about the program.

http://www.nsf.gov/funding/pgm_summ.jsp?pims_id=6201

The solicitation has not yet come out for this year, but applications are typically due in November for the following academic year. This program may be of particular interest to those interested in continuing in a PhD program.

General requirements are:

1) Applicants must be United States citizens, nationals, or permanent residents of the United States by the application deadline.

2) Degree Requirements: Individuals are typically eligible to apply:
a) During the senior year of college
b) After graduating from college and prior to entering graduate school
c) During the first year of graduate school
d) Prior to completing the Fall term of the second year of graduate school.

If you are interested in this program, I will be glad to assist you with the application process once the solicitation for this year has come out (probably in August).

Dr. Davis
