Associations - one of the top employers in the DC Metro area!

I am writing to extend an invitation to you and your students, to attend one
of our upcoming complimentary career programs. Our career center, ASAE
CareerHQ.org, is hosting a “Future of Association Careers” panel discussion,
which will feature key figures in the association industry discussing the
future trends of careers in associations. Associations are one of the top
employers in the DC metro area, with 1 in 10 people working for an
association. Following the panel, there will be a networking hour, which
would be a great opportunity to introduce students to the association
profession as well as give them a chance to chat with some professionals who
work in the industry.

This program will take place on Friday, April 1, 2011 from 2:00-3:30pm, the
networking event follows from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Please join us in the ASAE
Building Conference Center, located at 1575 I Street, NW in Washington, DC.

Here is a promotional flyer with additional information; I hope you will
take a moment to distribute this to your students and networks for others to
learn about the professional opportunities available in associations.

I will be happy to provide any more information or answer questions you
might have. Please feel free to reach out to me, [log in to unmask] or
Katie Fiorenzo, [log in to unmask], coordinator of Career Services.

Thank you and I look forward to seeing you on April 1!
