Please forgive my tardy announcement that the BIS Student Services Manager,
Stephanie Barnett, has left George Mason University for a new job at
Georgetown. We were so sorry to see her go and will be searching for her
replacement soon. However, job searches do not always move as quickly as we
might like, so for a few weeks the BIS Office will be operating without a
“Stephanie.” Our very capable student worker, Sarah Martin, will be in the
office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for part of each day. We are
hoping to hire a recent BIS graduate to help us on Mondays and Fridays.
The advisors and I will do our best to return your phone calls and email
messages promptly, but all of the questions that would normally go to
Stephanie will now need to be relayed to another member of the staff. Please
feel free to use the [log in to unmask] address for general questions. The
703-993-4556 phone line will be checked regularly, but you may need to leave
a message if no one is staffing the front desk at the time you call. I ask
