Behavioral Interviewing
Behavioral based interviewers ask questions to uncover specific skills,
experiences and behaviors they are looking for in candidates. Learn how to
answer these interview questions and present your skill set in the best light.

2. After the Fair...

Did you just attend the Internship & Job Fair? Find out what to do next. If
you have an interview coming up, check out Perfect Interview. It's an online
software that lets you practice answering those tough interview questions
with a prerecorded employer.

If you get stuck, you can ask the built in interview coach for advice or see
examples of how others would answer. You can even use a web cam to check out
your nonverbal communication!

3. Wolf Trap summer internships
Application deadline for summer 2010 is March 1.

Wolf Trap summer internships offer project-based training and experience to
approximately 40 interns annually. Interns become integral members of the
staff working side-by-side with professional producing, promotion and
administering all aspects of the performing arts.

Summer internships are paid, full-time positions (40+ hours per week) and
are 12 weeks in duration. Housing is the responsibility of the student,
although guidance in this matter is available. Work Trap Interns are
required to have a reliable mode of transportation as the Wolf Trap
Foundation is not accessible by public transit.

Summer internships are offered in the following departments:
Education
Planning and Initiatives
Development
Program and Production
Accounting
Communications and Marketing
Wolf Trap Opera Company
Ticket Services
Information Systems

Diversity Initiatives
Wolf Trap offers a diversity component designed to provide qualified
African-American and Hispanic/Latino students with a high-quality intern
experience in arts administration. Participants in the diversity component
receive free transportation and housing in metro Washington D.C. for the
duration of their internship.
