Judy Adkins (the Personal Statement Specialist for Mason's Office of
Postgraduate Fellowships and Scholarships, and for the Writing Center) will
offer a Personal Statement Workshop on Wednesday, March 24, from 7:00 to
9:00 PM (Student Union II: Sub II Ballroom 1Frnt).  The first hour or so
will focus on the basics of writing essays for graduate and professional
school applications.  The second part of the session will consist of a
free-writing exercise to help participants generate material for a personal
statement.  

The event is free and open to all Mason students and alumni.
