Hi everyone and welcome (back) to Fall Semester 2009!

I'm attaching guidelines for fieldwork for this semester. A few key points:

    * If you are in the DC area and need a placement, please complete
      the placement sheet and send it back to me by email *as soon as
      possible, but not later than* *September 1.*  Even if you do not
      know the nature of your assignment, you can fill in your
      coursework information. The forms should include summer and fall
      requirements - any hours you need during this semester.
    * If you are working in a school, you need your principal's
      permission; there is a form in the enclosed packet that she/he can
      fill out.
    * If you are outside of the DC area or overseas, please follow the
      guidelines for selecting a school.
    * Your documentation (observation log, teacher evaluation, principal
      permission form) should be submitted to each instructor along with
      your fieldwork report or other requirement. The instructors in
      turn provide us with the completed packets.
