1. Same Day Appointments (SDAs)
SDAs allow you to meet with a counselor for a brief consultation on any
career or job search issue. Beginning May 18, SDAs are available Tuesdays,
Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1 - 4 p.m. (last appointment at 3:30 p.m.).
Call 703-993-2370 after 9 a.m. to reserve a 30-minute time slot.

3. Public Service Recognition Week
Visit the National Mall May 7-10 for the 25th annual Public Service
Recognition Week celebration!
The Department of Labor, Office of Personnel Management and many other
agencies will present interactive exhibits demonstrating the broad range
of government programs and services. See first-hand what it's like to work
in the federal government and talk with current employees about their work.
Friday, May 8, 2009 is Students' Day. Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan,
will give opening remarks. Students from all over the area are invited to
attend and learn about exciting job opportunities in the federal
government.
