Anke, I'm not aware of any existing connection between MASON and GAMS. 
MASON is designed to be fairly easy to control from languages and 
systems compatible with Java VMs.  If GAMS is one of them, then you're 
in luck. But I can't speak as to GAMS's interoperability with external 
packages.
