Faculty,
This is a gentle reminder that next Monday and Tuesday, December 9 & 10, are officially university reading days. Per the Registrar site:
"Reading days provide students with additional study time for final examinations. Faculty may schedule optional study sessions, but regular classes or exams may not be held."
Please do NOT assume that the room in which you teach on Mondays or Tuesdays will be free on reading days. All classes have been removed from the schedules on those days and the rooms may have been scheduled for other campus events. If you want to schedule a study or review session on those days, please work with your department scheduling coordinator to schedule a room on one of those days. Otherwise, you and your students may show up on campus and be surprised to find "your room" in use by someone else.
