Dear all,

Please join me in congratulating Prof. Amarda Shehu of the Computer  
Science department who received an NSF CAREER award entitled  
"Probabilistic Methods for Addressing Complexity and Constraints in  
Protein Systems." The award is effective March 1 , 2012 and expires  
February 28, 2017. The total amount funded is expected to be $549,926.

This is the 12th NSF CAREER award received by the Volgenau School.
