*Study Leave Applications: Extension in Deadlines*

Because of a security breach, the server that hosts the application used 
for study leaves is not available.As a result, the deadlines for 
applications will be extended.Because it is not known when the server 
will be available, the new deadlines have not yet been specified.

*Khondkar Islam Receives Funding from Silicon Valley Community Foundation*

Khondkar Islam of the Applied Information Technology Department received 
$50K from the Silicon Valley Community Foundation for his project, "A 
Framework to Expand Outreach via the Virtual Learning Model."

*Max Albanese Receives Funding from Northrop Grumman*

Max Albanese of the Applied Information Technology Department received 
$7K from Northrop Grumman Corporation for his project, "Cybersecurity 
Engineering of Transportation Systems."

Kai Zeng of the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department received 
$225K from the National Science Foundation for his project,
