As many of you may already know, NSF is changing their requirements for proposal submissions effective June 1, 2020.  NSF will require Current and Pending and  Biosketch documents to use the ScIENcv format or a fillable pdf listed on NSF’s website (see below). NSF will not review proposals that fail to satisfy this new requirement.
Anticipating this change, as of May 11, 2020, OSP will require submitted proposals to satisfy the new NSF requirement. Shortly, OSP is going to conduct WebEx training sessions for faculty on how to use ScIENcv.  More info from OSP will follow on the dates of that training. It is important for everyone who plans to submit NSF proposals to take that training because OSP grant administrators will not fill out these forms for faculty.  Terri and the VSE Research Administration team will do their best to help, as they have been assisting in updating current and pending listings for faculty since last year.

I appreciate that with everything else going on, it is really disappointing to have to deal with changes in how we submit NSF proposals. Unfortunately, we don’t have any control over this change or the timing of its implementation.  Please reach out to Terri if you have any questions about this.
