President Cabrera, Provost Wu and the senior administration cordially invite you on Friday, Aug. 25, to EagleBank Arena to help welcome our incoming class at the New Student Convocation and then stay for a special all-faculty session afterward.

Come join your friends and colleagues from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and give our students a positive start to their academic careers at Mason. Afterward, the President and Provost will stay from 11 a.m. to noon to discuss important priorities for the upcoming academic year with faculty and take questions.

We are introducing the largest class in our history and one of our most diverse ever. These are both extraordinary and challenging times for universities, and we want to make sure all of our students feel welcome at Mason. As a part of this conversation, we will talk about the Mason Impact: We have an Impact on our students, and they have an Impact on the world. You’ll also hear from Dr. Wendi-Manuel Scott, as well as performances from students and our very own #1 Pep Band in the country – the Green Machine.

Please arrive between 9:00 and 9:15 a.m. at the Northeast entrance of EagleBank Arena (main office lobby on the lower level), wearing your Mason gear or Mason colors. When the New Student Convocation ends, proceed to EagleBank’s Hospitality Suite for the special all-faculty session with the President and Provost.
