Due: REQUIRED PRELIMINARY PROPOSAL: February 14, 2018
Submission of a preliminary proposal is required for Design and
Development Launch Pilots. Full Design and Development Launch Pilot
proposals may be submitted by invitation only after the review of the
preliminary proposal is completed. NSF INCLUDES is a comprehensive
national initiative designed to enhance U.S. leadership in science,
technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) discoveries and
innovations focused on NSF's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and
broadening participation in these fields. NSF INCLUDES Design and
Development Launch Pilots: Two-year pilot projects that explore the
feasibility of bold, innovative ways for solving a broadening
participation challenge in STEM.
GMU Internal Deadline: January 10, 2018
Budget: Up to $300,000
Internal applications should include the following:
Project title
Applicant name
List of Co-investigator(s) if applicable
Project Summary (up to 3 pages)
Please include elements noted in the Preliminary Proposal Application
Instructions of the solicitation including. These include: Broader
Impacts and Intellectual Merit, Vision, Partnerships, Goals and Metrics,
