IRS Scam Alert
From time to time, we see things that we think might be of interest to you and your faculty and staff. This one caught our eye. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) sent out a press release late last month regarding phone calls being made by scam artists purporting to be from the IRS. The IRS offers some tips on how to recognize these scams for what they are and how to report any call you might receive. For details, please visit IRS Scam Phone Calls.<http://www.irs.gov/uac/Newsroom/Scam-Phone-Calls-Continue;-IRS-Identifies-Five-Easy-Ways-to-Spot-Suspicious-Calls>
Please share excerpts of Instant HR/Payrolls with your faculty and staff as appropriate.
