A number of our junior faculty have applied to the Jeffress Trust in the
past. There are limitations on the number of submissions allowed from
Mason, so if you are interested you will need to submit to the internal

Health Resources in Action
Due: January 18, 2018 (2:00 PM EST)
Full-time faculty at institutions in Virginia that are within seven
years of their first faculty appointment are eligible to apply as
Principal Investigators.
Eligible research areas for Jeffress support include astronomy,
biosciences, chemistry, computer sciences, engineering, environmental
sciences, material science, mathematics and physics
GMU Internal Deadline: November 27, 2017
Budget: Up to $100,000
Internal applications should include the following:
Project title
Applicant name
List of Co-investigator(s) if applicable
Project Summary (up to 3 pages)
Please include elements noted in the Application Guidelines including
the role of undergraduate student participation
