Dear Colleague,

I am requesting your support for as your representative to the Faculty
Senate. The reason I want to serve is that I want to fight for faculty
rights and fair governance. The Faculty Senate is the right platform for
that. A quick summary of me:

  * I joined Mason in 2000. Tenured in 2006. Served as Undergrad Program
Director / Associate Chair of CEIE for 8 years
  * I have extensive knowledge of the system - undergraduate and
graduate education, program administration, P&T process, faculty
matters - more importantly, the history of VSE.
  * I am a registered professional engineer and I am governed by the
engineers code of ethics, which puts the interests of the public
above all. In this case, as a senator I will look out for the best
interest of the faculty at large.
  * I have the ability, willingness and a history of speaking truth to
    the power.

Thank you for your consideration.
