Hi,
Below are some updates on the email conversion, thanks to contributions
from our faculty:
1. Email signatures did NOT migrate so you will have to create those in
the Outlook web interface and your email clients. (John Bono - AIT)
2. POP3 is not supported on the new server (Bijan Jabbari - ECE)
3. ITU changed PatriotWeb so that class lists use semi-colons (Shih-Chun
Chang - ECE and Angel Manzo - SEOR discovered this for us)
4. Outlook can be set to allow comma-separated lists - instructions at
http://email.about.com/od/outlooktips/qt/How-To-Make-Outlook-Allow-Commas-To-Separate-Multiple-Email-Recipients.htm
(Stephen Nodine - ITU)
5. Some email and contacts are still being migrated
6. ITU now has a web interface for changing passwords on generic
accounts. Please contact me if you would like access to that site - I'll
need to know which accounts you use.
Jonathan
