Dear all,
Please read the message below and join me in congratulating Prof.
Qiliang Li, of the Electrical and Computer Engineering department, who
*also* is one of the three recipients, jointly with Siddhartha Sikdar,
of Mason’s 2011 Emerging Researcher/Scholar/Creator Award. Prof. Li is
being recognized by Mason for the quality of his work and for his
talent. His award brings recognition to the school and to the
department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Qiliang is the recipient of an NSF CAREER award and is the PI/co-PI in
over $1.7 million in research award.

VSE now has four faculty members who received this prestigious award:
Qiliang Li (2011), Siddhartha Sikdar (2011), Songqing Chen (2009) and
Carlotta Domeniconi (2008).

Well done Qiliang!

How sweet it is to be able to announce two wonderful news on the same
day.

Danny
