Just a reminder that we still need your software requirements for the upcoming school year.  The deadline for submitting them is July 9th, but the earlier you can get them in, the better.  It was also brought to my attention that I neglected to include ENGR 2608 in the list labs.  So if you need any special software for that room, please let me know.

Subject: VSE Lab Software Requirements for Fall 2021 through Summer 2022

Greetings,

It's that time of the year when we start the process of creating the lab images for the next school year that begins in August.

As in past years, we will be creating two separate images, one for the ECE Labs (3203, 3204, 3208, 3505), and one for the VSE Labs (1505, 1506, 4457, 5358, JC10, KJH 259, KJH 260).


NOTE:  If you need software in a room other than those listed above, or in the Citrix Virtual Lab<https://its.gmu.edu/service/citrix-virtual-lab/>, you'll need to submit a software installation request to ITS by clicking on this<https://its.gmu.edu/service/software-installation/> link and then clicking Classroom Software Installation on the right-hand side.  Even if you did this last year, you'll still need to submit a new request this year.


Chairs: This email was sent only to full-time faculty.  Please forward to adjuncts or others not on the full-time faculty list who might have software needs.



The deadline for all requests is July 9th.  All requests received after that date may not be reflected in the classroom images available on the first day of classes.


Please reply to this email and let us know what software you require, and what class(es) you need it for.  Unless you ask for a specific version, we will include the most recent version allowed by our license or readily available online, if the software is freeware.

If you would like software that is not on the list, feel free to include it and we will let you know whether we have a license, or if it's freeware we are allowed to install.
