Students defending this semester are reminded that University regulations require that all final defense notifications be shared with the University community a minimum of two-weeks prior to the defense.   *   The Format Review deadline for the Spring 2023 Semester is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28.



  *   The Final Submission deadline for the Spring 2023 Semester is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 5.

Dear INFT Students,

In an attempt to streamline the process of scheduling final defense presentations, I am happy to announce that you may now reserve your defense date online. If you are planning to hold your final defense in Spring 2023, click here<[log in to unmask]" target="_blank">https:[log in to unmask]> to review a list of available dates for February, March, and April. Be sure to schedule your final defense with the availability of your dissertation committee in mind. I recommend reviewing the available dates, identifying several possibilities, and then sharing these dates with your committee members before making a reservation. Defenses are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. If a student reserves a date that needs to be changed, the student should cancel their reservation before reserving a new date on the web site. Please do not make multiple reservations at once. Students are reminded that any notification of a final defense must be sent to the CEC community a minimum of two-weeks before the scheduled date.
