Part-time Graduate Research Assistantship Opportunity



This part-time research opportunity is to support graduate students for the project on deep learning for image data generation, specifically on "Artificial Intelligence for Fashion". The student will get instruction from Dr. Liang Zhao (http://mason.gmu.edu/~lzhao9/) on research and algorithm development.  The goal is to develop cutting-edge performance techniques for outfit image segmentation and translation for fashion design using deep learning. Requirements:

  *   Applicants are Master or PhD students under programs such as IT, CS, ECE, and etc.
  *   A strong background including software development, deep learning, and image processing.
  *   Familiar with popular deep learning development platform such as tensorflow, Pytorch, Keras, and etc.

Salary:

  *   ~$15/hour, 20 hours per week, $1200 per month.
  *   For Fall 2019 semester.
