Subject: FW: Elsevier workshop on Publishing Your Research 10/24/18
Dear Colleagues,
The University Libraries and the STEM Team are hosting publishing workshop presented by Elsevier on October 24, 2018 at 2 PM. The event will be held in Rm. 1014 in Fenwick. Registration is required.
I am attaching a flyer and email for you to share as you wish with your faculty and graduate students. Three Mason faculty (see below) who are editors for Elsevier will be joining the presentation to offer their insights as an editor.
Elsevier did a similar workshop about 4 years ago and it was well attended. We are excited to have them back on campus for this event.
Thanks in advance for your help. If you have any questions (yes, undergrads are welcome too), please let me know.
Sincerely,
Theresa

Publishing research in well-known scientific journals is one way researchers build a reputation in their community and allow the wide dissemination of their work.
