CEIE Students:

Here is another summer intern opportunity through United States Geological Survey working on landslide research.

The announcement for this student intern opportunity in USGS in Reston, VA will be posted on Thursday on March 26th at:

https://www.usajobs.gov/StudentsAndGrads

The position opening will most likely be open only for 1 day as they expect to reach the maximum number of applicants very quickly. The vacany announcement for this position will be ATL-2015-0545.

Students that want to be competitive need to set up an account/profile and submit necessary resumes through the link above. I've been told it may be possible for students to setup e-mail alerts using specific keywords for new announcements (don't ask me how?).

Out-of-state students may have the option to work from campus or another telework center, but must report to Reston for a few days to meet with USGS human resources, get credentialed, and take some training.
