Walk in hours: Wednesday October 30th from 9:30 -11:30 am and Thursday October 31st from 9 am - 11 am.

Next week - Tuesday, November 5th 1:30 - 3pm, November 6th 10 am - 12pm, November 7th 10 am - 11:30 am.

The Registrar rolled out the new version of Patriot Web Registration features. Here is a link to help guide you through the new registration process: https://registrar.gmu.edu/wp-content/uploads/New-Registration-process-update.pdf

IMPORTANT: Please read attached notes for registration!

SPRING 2020 Registration: Departmental Controls will be on the following classes BENG 214, BENG 230, BENG 241, BENG 320, BENG 330/331, BENG 370/371, BENG 420, meaning you won't be able to register until we officially lift the controls. This is to prevent students to register without the necessary prerequisites since most grades post in winter break. Controls will be lifted Monday, January 6th at 10 am. Students who need any of these classes to graduate in Spring 2020 email me for an override.

IMPORTANT: Technical Electives Spring 2020:
BENG 240 is only for students following the new 2019 curriculum, BENG 341 only for students following any curriculum BEFORE fall 2019. Both classes are cross-listed.

Winter 2019 Graduates: Important information about timelines and the entire graduation process can be found at https://registrar.gmu.edu/students/graduation/ .

Spring 2020 Graduates: Make sure to make an appointment with Claudia Borke to go over degree audit and classes BEFORE Spring registration.

MATH 114 and MATH 214 need to be passed with a B- and above in the department of bioengineering.

Gowns for Grads:

To offer some financial relief, Mason has created the Gowns for Grads Program to make regalia available for our students who are unable to purchase regalia on their own. If you are a first-generation student, low income, Pell Grant recipient, Stay Mason recipient, affected by the furlough, or cannot afford regalia right now due to financial difficulties, then this program is for you!

Caps and gowns that are provided by the program to students must be returned to the program after the spring ceremonies. Gowns are borrowed on a first come, first served basis.

For more information and access to the application:

https://ulife.gmu.edu/students/gowns-for-grads-lending-program/

Applications are reviewed three times a semester throughout the application period. Below are the deadlines for application submission and students will be notified of their status with the program a week after each deadline:

Round Two Deadline: November 19th, 2019

       Final Deadline: December 2nd, 2019
