Subject: Course in Biomedical Ethics
Dear Amanda,
I wonder if you'd be willing to let your students know about a course we're offering next semester that might interest them. PHIL642: Biomedical Ethics, will focus on the special topic of "The ethics of neuroimaging after serious brain injury." The instructor will be Andrew Peterson, recently arrived at Mason from the University of Western Ontario, where he worked with teams of neuroscientists trying to communicate with patients in vegetative states. It's pathbreaking work.
