Dear Faculty,

To enhance student learning and post-graduate outcomes, please promote the Spring 2020 Career Fair in your classes. There will be opportunities for undergrad and grad students of all programs between the two days of the fair; 140+ different employers each day. Opportunities include: internships, part-time jobs, and full-time positions. Find Fair details along with tools and resources below.

Spring Career Fair
February 19 and 20

Fairfax Campus, Johnson Center, Lower Level

Tools to Promote the Fair

  *   Make a class announcement using provided slides<>
  *   Show the 4-minute Career Fair Misconceptions<> video in class
  *   Give extra credit for students who attend the fair

Additional Faculty Resources

  *   Become an official member of the Career Influencer Network<> by attending an upcoming professional development opportunity
  *   Invite career services to do a classroom presentation<> on topics such as: resumes, interviewing, job search, networking/LinkedIn
  *   Show the Top Three Resources<> or Career Services Unpacked<> video series in class
  *   Implement low effort, high impact strategies from the Faculty Career Readiness Toolkit<> to help students connect learning outcomes to skills employers seek.
