University Dissertation and Thesis Services is here to help GMU's graduate
students. You can check us out athttp://thesis.gmu.edu/, email us
[log in to unmask], and/or call us at 703-993-2222 with any questions about our
services. We're located in Fenwick Library, in room C203.
Please be aware of the following deadlines and steps in your journey toward
finishing your degree:
The final submission deadline for theses and dissertations for Spring 2011
is May 6. If you are planning to graduate this semester, your thesis or
dissertation MUST be turned in to our office NO LATER than 5:00 p.m. on May
6, but ideally before. And
remember: the earlier your submission, the better!
Email us [log in to unmask] to set up a format review for your thesis or
dissertation. Format reviews are mandatory for ALL theses and dissertations,
and should take place AT LEAST 2 - 3 weeks before your defense.
After your format review is finished, we'll set up an appointment to talk
about the final submission process. Check out
http://thesis.gmu.edu/submission.htm for further information about your
options: ETD v. traditional submission.
Your final step is submission of your completed document; at your submission
consultation, you'll get all the paperwork you need to complete and turn in
to us when you turn in your thesis or dissertation.
And, as always, we're here to help, and to answer any questions you might
have. We look forward to working with you!
Sincerely,
Sally R. Evans
