Research Assistant position(s) at the ECE CubeSat Lab

Hello,

We expect a large grant from NASA for the development of a payload for a CubeSat mission. This effort will include a close cooperation with NASA (Goddard Center in MD), NIST, and several universities. The grant will cover four years of research, development and testing beginning Sept’22 (or Sept’23 - we do not know yet). We are looking for additional one/two people interested in joining the team for:

  * The development of payload software, written in C on MSP430 and with resiliency features
  * The development of various mockups and testing modules using RPi/Linux and Python.

Since this is a long-term (~4 years) commitment, we are looking for people who would be able to stay with us for a longer period. We are looking for:

  * UG student(s) who will continue their education into a MS degree, or
  *   PhD level student, or
  * MS student(s) interested in a PhD program

If interested, please send one page resume to Dr. Peter Pachowicz ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>). State your major and background in MSP430, RPi, C and Python. I will contact you thereafter.
Thank you,

Peter (Piotr) W. Pachowicz, Ph.D.
