Research assistance needed organizing multiple, large datasets (1TB+) into analytic files. Assistant will convert csv files to data tables, join tables on geographic variables provided by faculty, and write and optimize SQL statements for data access and retention. Our servers are running Linux and this project will use PostgreSQL.  SQL proficiency, unix command line scripting, and prior experience with data management is required. This is a highly time-intensive project and requires great attention to detail. Hourly wages. $16-$17/hour, 10 hours/week. spring semester. Preference to students taken CS 550 and/or CS584.
