Graduate Association for Bioengineering Students (GABS) is hosting elections for the position of the President and Treasurer. The nominees for both the positions are listed below:
President:
1. Bryce Dunn: Bryce is a first year PhD student who recently completed his master's at GMU. He is passionate about building the graduate student community by listening to people's suggestions and ideas.
2. Esra Oktay: Esra is a fourth year PhD student working on creating the next generation of vaccines. She is excited to have an opportunity to contribute to the graduate student body and would love to host different kinds of professional events.
Treasurer:
1. Yogesh Karnam: Yogesh is a second year PhD student, and he understands that the role of the Treasurer comes with the responsibilities of raising/managing funds, bringing collaborations and acting as a liaison. He has prior experience in managing these responsibilities.
2. Antarjot Kaur: Antarjot is a master student and has done her bachelor's in bioengineering from GMU. She has taught several clubs and students how to carry out successful fundraising at different institutions including the BMES chapter at GMU.
