Dear agent-based modelers:

Swarm Development Group invites you to SwarmFest 2005, our conference on
agent-based modeling. SwarmFest has occurred annually since about 1995
and this year will be June 5-7, in Turin (Torino), Italy.

SwarmFest is an informal, interdisciplinary meeting to share ideas and
research results (including and especially the preliminary and
speculative), and to make contacts in the international community of
modelers. Cross-fertilization from interaction among people working in
different fields and using different platforms has always been one of
the primary benefits of SwarmFest, so we strongly encourage
participation by people using platforms other than Swarm. I personally
have found SwarmFest to be more fascinating, beneficial, and fun than
any other professional conference.

This year we have an especially appealing (and inexpensive) venue at the
Villa Gualino just outside Torino. Abstracts for presentations and
posters are due by April 25, and acceptance notifications will be made
by May 2.
