I have made some additional modifications to MASON to revise things here and there as FindBugs  (a static analysis checker) kicks up what it thinks might be errors.  I've committed the result.  I didn't find a whole lot, but made enough changes that I could have easily introduced a showstopper bug into the code.

PLEASE run you programs with the current (SVN repository) version of MASON and let me know if anything looks amiss or different -- it shouldn't.  If everything looks great, I'll make this the new tarball.
