So, you have a file and want to extract specific records with data found in
the a 999$i. Use the Extract Selected Records Tool. Set the display field
to 999$i, in the Search box, enter: FILE#:[full path to your file] and then
search.

MarcEdit will read the file and run a search on data in each new line of the
file.

Then export the results.

Subject: [MARCEDIT-L] Selecting records using a list of barcodes

We are going thru our failed-to-load list in our migration from Sirsi to
WorldShare WMS. We have about 875 bib records, and have the barcode for the
records in a text file. The barcode is in the 999 $i field of the bib
record. Does anyone know of an automated way to get the barcode list go
bounce against our bib file and export the records? Thanks in advance.
