Terry's YouTube videos are really helpful. The Shelter-in-Place Webinars provide a great overview of all of the features of MarcEdit, including the delimited text translator tool, which will do the Excel to MARC21 conversion you're wanting.

Subject: [MARCEDIT-L] Seeking written instructions on MarcEdit (importing from Excel)
My library is new to MarcEdit, and a couple of us have been struggling with it despite the various recommended YouTube videos. Can anyone share written documentation for the following?
(1) General instructions on MarcEdit. (Is there a users guide?)
(2) Step-by-step instructions how to transfer an Excel spreadsheet (or even a Microsoft Word table) into MARC records that can be loaded into OCLC WorldCat and/or into an ILS system (we use SIRSI WorkFlows). The plan is to import data entered into columns from an Excel spreadsheet, identify them as certain MARC fields and subfields, and import them into a cataloging system.
I reviewed all the archived messages on MARCEDIT-L with "excel" in them and did not see an answer to my question, but I might have missed it.
Thank you,
Ed
