Greetings all,

I have a situation where I have price information to include in the holdings field of a group of MARC records. Some of these prices have a leading space in them that I would like to eliminate. The prices are contained in $g and $v of the holdings field like this:

=952 \\$h840.9 CON$p10052$g 15.00$v 15.00$aCWESTBOYL$bCWESTBOYL$yBOOK

I tried fiddling with regular expressions but am unable to build one that will work.

Can anyone give me advice on how to strip out the leading space that appears in some of these subfields?

Thanks,

Nora
