Found out that our IT folks are blocking port 210. I now need a justification to open the port. Anyone have any tips on how to let non-library IT folks know Z39.50 access won't break everything?

Subject: [MARCEDIT-L] Z39.50 logs
So the only Z39.50 server I can access through MARCEdit is our local one. I get a "Querying Database" and then the "fall back" message and then nothing on all others I try. I'm guessing this is due to our firewall. Before I go to our IT folks, I'm wondering if MARCEdit has a log I could check to see what errors are coming back to provide them with further info.
Thanks!
