It looks like there is some problem with converting my file to unicode.
I managed to convert my Marc-Files now because I remembered what I did
in my previous case.
My application generates a fild with ansi-encoding. In the last attempts
I converted them to unicode using the emacs editor (also because I use
this editor to correct some mistakes in the file).
Earlier I had done this using OpenOffice Writer (open the file, save as
text selecting the unicode enconding).
Now I did this same step with my new files before using emacs for the
corrections -> It works :-))
I wonder why ...
In some way my emacs (22.2.1) corrupted the files, but how?
Thanks for your help.
Beda
